"The Garment of Joy for Children with Cancer"
Eid is a meaning of joy and pleasure, where the most beautiful meanings of giving and moments that remain immortal in memory are embodied, especially for children. The "Eid Clothing" initiative comes from the heart of the Emirates Cancer Association as a beacon of hope that lights the path of the little ones who are battling cancer, to grant them Eid clothes that instill joy and warmth in their souls.
The Importance of the Initiative:
On Eid, every child looks forward to new clothes that increase their joy and delight, but for children with cancer, Eid clothing can be more than just a new outfit; it is a message of love and care that makes them feel the attention and love of the community. This feeling restores their confidence and courage to continue the fight against the disease.
Religious Foundation:
"He who does not show mercy will not be shown mercy," a noble hadith that teaches us the importance of compassion and emotional sharing, and the Holy Quran confirms this value. The "Eid Clothing" is a revival of the spirit of solidarity and mercy that our noble religion calls for.
Call for Giving:
The Emirates Cancer Association invites individuals and institutions to contribute to the "Eid Clothing Initiative" to provide Eid clothes for our brave children. Each donation will contribute to drawing a smile and bestowing happiness upon their hearts, affirming that happiness is a right for every child.
Eid Clothing:
Is not just a charitable initiative, but a covenant from all of us to stand by our children facing cancer, giving them hope and joy on Eid. Let's be constructive hands that contribute to alleviating their pain and giving them the energy to overcome their challenges, for in our giving is life, and in our participation is the perpetuation of good impact in their souls.
Providing Food for Cancer Patients in the Holy Month
Ramadan, the blessed month, is imbued with meanings of goodness and giving. Within this spirit, the "Ramadan Food Basket" initiative emerges as a blessed humanitarian project carried out by the Emirates Cancer Society in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent and the Emirates Food Bank, aiming to offer nutritional support to cancer patients and their families during this sacred month.
As the fasting individuals engage in reviving the nights and days of Ramadan with worship and drawing closer to Allah, there are those in dire need of help. Cancer patients, fighting their tough battle against the disease, await our support and assistance. The Prophet Muhammad, peace be upon him, said, "The most beloved deeds to Allah are the most consistent ones, even if they are small." Embracing this value, we welcome the month of mercy with a project that embodies the meaning of continuous and ongoing spending for the sake of Allah.
The Ramadan Food Basket is a part of the charitable and humanitarian fabric adopted by the Emirates Cancer Society. It includes essential food items necessary to meet the families' needs and alleviate their burden during the fasting month. In this, we find an echo of Allah's words in the Quran, "O you who have believed, spend from the good things which you have earned."
The "Ramadan Food Basket" project is a sincere call for everyone who can help to participate in this noble work, emphasizing that every contribution, no matter how small, is significant in the scale of goodness and has a profound impact on the hearts and souls of those we aid. Let us make the holy month of Ramadan a season of goodness that transcends time and place, contributing to bringing smiles and joy to the hearts of cancer patients and their families.
Add a touch of joy and hope to your Eid with the Eid Basket initiative
The holidays are a special occasion filled with joy and happiness for everyone, but sometimes this joy is deprived from the hearts of those who are suffering from illnesses, especially cancer patients who face significant challenges in their daily lives. Therefore, the "Eid Basket" project comes to bring a touch of happiness and joy to their hearts during the days of Eid.
The "Eid Basket" project, implemented by the Emirates Cancer Society in collaboration with the Emirates Red Crescent, aims to provide Eid baskets and deliver them to cancer patients and their families. This noble initiative is part of efforts aimed at supporting and assisting these individuals in facing the health challenges they encounter and alleviating the burden on them.
The "Eid Basket" initiative reflects the values of solidarity and compassion advocated by our noble Islamic religion. It provides an opportunity for everyone who wishes to share joy and happiness with others during these blessed times. It reminds us of the noble Hadith: "Whoever relieves a Muslim of a burden from the burdens of the world, Allah will relieve him of a burden from the burdens on the Day of Judgment", which emphasizes the importance of providing assistance and support to the needy and the sick.
Furthermore, the initiative promotes the spirit of brotherhood and solidarity in society, reflecting our sincere commitment to helping others and bringing happiness to them. Not only that, but the project also offers an opportunity for donors and volunteers to participate in charitable work and provide assistance to those in need, thus enhancing the noble humanitarian spirit in the community.
In conclusion, the "Eid Basket" project embodies the commitment of the Emirates Cancer Society to provide support and care for cancer patients and their families at all times, not just during the holiday season. By participating in this noble humanitarian project, you can be part of the joy and happiness of cancer patients, and contribute to alleviating their suffering and bringing smiles to their faces.
Because Giving is Life… Be the Reason to Ease Patients’ Suffering and Support Their Families
"A Charitable Initiative to Support the Treatment of Cancer Patients Endorsed by the Emirates Fatwa Council"
Amidst the challenges faced by cancer patients and their families, the "Zakat Fund" project from the Emirates Cancer Association emerges as an oasis of hope, striving to provide financial and moral support to these patients. With the affirmation of the legality of donating Zakat funds for this purpose, based on a Fatwa issued by the Emirates Fatwa Council, this initiative opens new horizons for goodness and giving in our society.
Importance of the Project:
Charity and Zakat are fundamental pillars in Islam, calling for solidarity and empathy among community members. The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said, "Heal your sick with charity," emphasizing the healing effect of giving. Allah Almighty also says in His noble book, "Take from their wealth a charity by which you purify them and cause them increase," (At-Tawbah: 103). From this perspective, the "Zakat Fund" project aims to direct Zakat towards supporting the treatment of cancer patients, thereby alleviating the burden on them and their families.
The Legitimacy of Donating Zakat for Patient Treatment:
Based on a Fatwa from the Emirates Fatwa Council, donating Zakat funds for the treatment of cancer patients has become a legitimate and recommended act, opening a great door for reward and blessing. This step enhances the concept of Zakat as a means of purification and growth, not only for the individual Muslim but for the society as a whole.
A Call for Participation and Donation:
We invite everyone who is able to contribute to the "Zakat Fund" project, supporting cancer patients and affirming the spirit of cooperation and mutual support advocated by our noble religion. Remember the words of Allah Almighty: "And whatever good you spend will be repaid to you, and you will not be wronged" (Al-Baqarah: 272).
Let us all be part of this virtuous initiative, contributing to building a community filled with goodness and blessing.
The "Zakat Fund" Project
presents a golden opportunity for the community to contribute to the treatment of cancer patients, benefiting from the religious Fatwa that blesses this charitable work. By donating to this project, we prove that Zakat is not just a religious obligation but an investment in the health and well-being of society. Let us all unite in this noble initiative, offering support and hope to cancer patients, and affirming the values of mercy and generosity that our great Islam instils.
The Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) said: "Whoever provides Iftar for a fasting person will earn a reward equal to theirs, without diminishing the fasting person’s reward in the slightest." (Reported by Al-Tirmidhi).
